Mike1 Guest. It cant be a 15W I can assure you that short of Mobil 1 whatever is in the car now is not as good as the oil they put in. What did they put in the car, and what intervals are you draining at? They definately put 15w40, he showed me the reciept and the empty oil bottles.

I won't be draining at the proper intervals as I Like nice clean oil in my motor, so I will drain and refill as often as I do my bike lol, every km or less depending on how disgusting the oil looks within that time span. The Fully Synthetic 5W40 is superb, and whilst I would go for the Hydro-cracked personally you will do well with that oil.

It only has a Longlife approval which is pretty useless. Revival time! I've had my d for a year now and want to change the oil again.

Since I bought the car I've done km and My dad did the oil change while I was away in June last year. He bought this Caltex Delo Gold 15w40 and there is still half a bottle left.

So I was wanting to do this change with the remaining oil before changing to something else next year. Or am I missing something that this is a horrific choice?
