What was taken away from rangiku

Then a few weeks later, he saw the goons again walking towards Aizen, and Gin realized that it was Aizen who had tried to kill Rangiku.

So he swore to kill him. User Info: Starks. We really have no idea what was taken from Rangiku. Clearly not her entire soul owing to her high spirit energy?

Paid for by StarksPAC, a registered c 4. User Info: mitsuruji gun. She then silently thanks him as she loved that part of him. They then find Ichigo being attacked by Haineko and Tobiume , and engage them in battle, while telling Ichigo to go. Quickly, Rangiku and Haineko get in another argument about each others' appearances.

During their conversation, Muramasa arrives at their location through a Garganta. Muramasa begins to fight Ichigo, but is having trouble adjusting to his " new " body, something both Rangiku and Momo notice.

Muramasa then decides to restrain them with a binding attack, but his weakened condition causes the effect to wear off. As Ichigo tries to fight Muramasa again, Senbonzakura arrives and fights Ichigo instead.

Senbonzakura activates his Bankai and attacks Ichigo, as well as Rangiku and Momo. Byakuya then retreats along with Muramasa and Senbonzakura, the latter using his technique to cover their escape.

They were found and treated by the 4th Division. Rangiku joins her allies in destroying several Gillian attracted by the unstable Muramasa. In Soul Society, the Shinigami of the Gotei 13 are allowed to enjoy a day of relaxation and partying to recuperate from the recent chaos.

During its attack, Rangiku loses her Soul Candy , preventing her from accessing her Shinigami powers. Haineko seeks amnesty for Narunosuke. When she asks why Haineko brought it up in the first place, she nervously claims that it was just out of curiosity. Matsumoto denies knowing who could be behind it. However, she is suspicious that Haineko is behind the thefts, and so asks where Haineko was at during all the times she was not in Seireitei.

Haineko says that she was simply "out". Unable to get a clear answer, Rangiku tells her of how a thief has been stealing supplies and asks if Haineko knows anything about it. Unconvinced by Haineko's denial, Matsumoto states that it is kind of scary, prompting Haineko to leave almost immediately. She asks why Haineko chose not to tell her. He destroys the hut, forcing all of them to flash-step away from the wreckage.

Haineko envelopes herself and Narunosuke in her Shikai and kills him. Later, Haineko explains to Rangiku that the reason she kept quiet about it all was due to her crush on Narunosuke, which Rangiku says she already knew about.

When Haineko confusedly asks what she means by that, Rangiku claims that it was nothing, prompting Haineko to state that Matsumoto is just teasing her. When Haineko says that she's "kinda glad" that she's still young, and Rangiku asks her why, Haineko playfully stats that she still has "plenty of time until I become an old hag", prompting Rangiku to warmly smile at her in response.

They had been setting up barriers for the past month. Rangiku suggests that they celebrate, prompting Nanao to note that Rangiku has seemed somewhat depressed recently.

She receives a call from Hitsugaya on her Denreishinki, with her captain criticizing her for not making regular progress reports. When she informs him that they are finished, he orders her to return. Nanao opens a Senkaimon and the pair enter the Dangai, noting that while it is the designated path, it is creepy.

As Rangiku notices something odd, their Hell Butterflies turn into energy. When questioned, they insist that only three hours have passed since Hitsugaya ordered them to return. Later, Kon runs into her on the street and realizes the Rangiku he had seen earlier was a Reigai.

Rangiku arrives later to defeat her Reigai copy by releasing her Shikai. At first, Rangiku feels overly confidant, given how she easily negated Wabisuke's effects in their previous encounter.

However, Rangiku drops her weapon after only a few strikes and the Reigai reveals that his abilities increase the weight of an object by tenfold instead of just doubling it like the original. Eventually, she is able to trick the Reigai by covering a metal pole with her scarf so that the weight increase traps his weapon while Rangiku rushes towards her weapon and unleashes her Shikai in his direction, killing the Reigai.

After Rukia Kuchiki's battle with the two Reigai, Rangiku Matsumoto appears, noting that the battles have now ended. However, Rukia comments that they are full of openings, prompting Rangiku to turn back.

She gets slashed across the chest area, as Nemu sprawls onto the ground. Rangiku is surprised that she was a Reigai all along, locking blades with Reigai-Rukia Kuchiki.

Eventually, both Rangiku and Nemu are overpowered, falling to the lake below them. Rangiku participates in a meeting in Ichigo's room, where she listens to Nanao reporting on the situation in Soul Society.

Later, when the Reigai of Kenpachi Zaraki breaks out of Urahara's trap and arrives in the Human World, Rangiku and the other lieutenants arrive to help Ikkaku fight him. However, Ikkaku warns them to stay out of his fight. Rangiku criticizes him for this, but he tells her they have their own opponents.

When more Reigai arrive, Rangiku leaves to fight the new arrivals. Upon rejoining their allies, it is decided to rely on Nozomi's energy-absorbing "Arazome Shigure ". They all direct their energy into Nozomi's blade, who then launches a powerful blast that defeats all the Reigai, except for Reigai-Byakuya, who retaliates with a blast of his own that knocks out everyone except for Ichigo and Nozomi.

Before Reigai-Byakuya can finish them off, Yamamoto arrives and quickly defeats the Reigai. However, she states that their condition is severe. Rangiku faces off against her own counterpart. Byakuya Kuchiki then realizes the truth behind the Reigai's battle style: they value self-preservation the most and won't attack first in fear of being outnumbered.

The lieutenants then team up. Before the Shinigami can act, the Reigai step forward, saying that they will stop their fellow Mod-Soul's chaotic plan as their goal has always been to protect the Soul Society in their own way.

The Reigai then destroy the technique at the cost of their own lives. When Ichigo regains his powers, he notices that Rangiku's power was used to help restore his own. While the captains are in a meeting, the lieutenants gather and discuss the situation with the Wandenreich and recent disappearances of Hollows and Rukongai residents.

Rangiku listens as Izuru deduces that Shinigami were likely involved in the disappearance of the Rukongai denizens. She listens as Hitsugaya states that he will use his Bankai while she is with him and once it is sealed, they will fight together and devise a method to break the seal. When Captain-Commander Yamamoto decides to enter the front line, the two sense Yamamoto's Reiatsu resonate throughout Seireitei.

The two find their morale raised as Hitsugaya notes how serious their Captain-Commander is fighting and so the two of them have a duty as captain and lieutenant to not be defeated so easily.

She agrees with her captain as they face the Sternritter member. After an unspecified amount of time, the Wandenreich return to attack Soul Society once more causing Matsumoto to join the battlefield alongside her captain where they confront Bazz-B.

After returning to Hitsugaya, reporting on the retreats, she states it is a good time to start their strategy, and releases Haineko , and Hitsugaya responds by creating an ice wall.

Rangiku recalls Haineko's ashes back into its sword form. Although Bazz-B notes that it's only an ice wall, he notes that he can't melt it. Hitsugaya explains that that is the result of him and Rangiku using their powers in combination. Stating that they were finished with their battle, Rangiku and her captain begin to leave, only to be interrupted by Bazz-B, still alive, asking them why they were leaving already. An injured Rangiku is later brought by Cang Du to the place where her captain has just been struck down by Bazz-B.

Cang Du states that she and her captain should die together, as he believes that those who live together should die together. The Sternritter then releases Hitsugaya's Bankai to kill them. Following Mayuri's victory against Giselle, Rangiku and her captain are placed in special capsules in order to reverse the zombification process at the cost of much of their lifespan. When the remaining members of the Gotei 13 and Visored travel to the Soul King Palace , Nemu Kurotsuchi brings their capsules with her as they continue to recuperate.

After the defeat of Pernida Parnkgjas , Mayuri reveals the location of the capsules to Yumichika and Ikkaku, who then release the two Shinigami while the scientist explains that their recovery took longer than he preferred. Rangiku steps from the capsule, recovered but with her lifespan reduced. When Rangiku says that she's never seen it despite all that they've been through, suggesting that he is faking it, Hisagi tries to defend himself after both Kensei and Hitsugaya also state that they've never seen it.

She gets up just before Nakeem attempts to step on her, but she easily holds him off with one hand. She then tells the others that the limit release has been approved, causing her, Renji and Hitsugaya to remove their seals. When Nakeem asks what the limit release is she explains its function to him. When he goes to punch her Rangiku simply blocks it with her forearm and tells him that he is slow and states that upon his arrival he showed great speed, she then asks that he do so again.

Before he can react he is dealt a large slash wound on his back. She tries to face off against Wonderweiss Margela but upon seeing his personality mannerisms wonders if it's even okay to fight him.

Luppi attacks Rangiku, Ayasegawa, and Ikkaku all at once beating them up a good amount before taunting them. The Arrancar then takes notice of her, taking note that she has a nice body. Detailing that it is so nice and sexy, he asks if he should fill it with holes as he reveals his tentacles' ability to manifest spikes as he proceeds to skewer her on them. But before she can be done in by the attack the tendril is cut off from Luppi by a blast of energy by Kisuke Urahara.

Upon learning that Orihime has followed the Arrancar back to Hueco Mundo, Rangiku and the rest of her team return to Soul Society to help in the preparation for the war against Aizen. Rangiku comes into her captain's office as he is doing paperwork and asks him if he has heard the news of a new captain being appointed to the 3rd Division. Hitsugaya continues his work and tells her that he is a captain so therefore of course he knows.

When Rangiku begins to muse at the idea of when Izuru mastered his Bankai, Hitsugaya tells her that it is not Izuru and informs her that he himself doesn't know who it is. Irritated at this point, he tells her that they will all find out tomorrow and that she should do some work. Rangiku leads the Shinigami in her division to fight the fake Menos Grandes that appear in Seireitei that the Captain-Commander released to test the teamwork within the Gotei Eventually they team up with a member of the Third Division to defeat them.

Though Ichigo is hiding, Hitsugaya can still sense his spiritual power and tells him to come out. Though Rukia pleads with him to let them explain, Hitsugaya assures her he will, but only after he has taken them to the Captain-Commander. She engages in a fight with Rukia, only to be stopped by the change of command from the Captain-Commander himself for all Shinigami to invade the noble household instead on the basis of treason.

Rangiku proceeds to attack with her Shikai, but is outnumbered by the henchmen, who seem to have lost control of their souls and therefore their sense of pain, as Rangiku deducted herself. Shortly thereafter, Hitsugaya and 6th Division Captain Byakuya Kuchiki are waiting atop of a roof when Rangiku arrives and asks what is going on. Hitsugaya tells her that the strategy they are using was set up by the Captain-Commander. She later appears with the rest of the Gotei 13 at the battle between Amagai and Ichigo, watching as Amagai goes and tries to attack Captain-Commander Yamamoto.

She bears witness to Yoruichi explaining the details behind what truly happened to Amagai's father years ago under the Captain-Commander's orders. Rangiku and the others then witness Amagai committing suicide because of his disgraceful actions. When Aizen along with his top three Espada attack the Fake Karakura Town, Rangiku along with her captain and the rest of the Gotei 13 captains currently not in Hueco Mundo are in the fake town awaiting for Aizen's arrival.

She then tells the trio they should have surrounded her when they had the chance, but now that they are all in one spot they have lost any advantage that they had. When some settles onto Apacci's arm and cuts her Rangiku explains the power of Haineko, to which she then encloses the ash all around them forming it into a twister. She informs them that they should watch out as the ash will cut anyone it touches, but the three tell her that she has underestimated them and combine their Cero to blast their way through, much to Rangiku's surprise before she tries to attack them again.

Apacci makes the statement that she should take a break as the three of them are obviously too much for Rangiku to handle by herself, prompting her to use Shunpo to get in close, but she is caught by Apacci who throws her away. Rangiku is surprised at her arrival though Momo tells her not to worry, as while she may be wearing the 5th Division's lieutenant armband, it is only a symbol of her role as leader of the 5th Division, not as Captain Aizen's subordinate, as he is now an enemy of Soul Society.

Even though Rangiku tells her that she understands, she slightly worries as she still addresses him as 'Captain'. Momo then details to them and Rangiku how she managed to sneak up on Apacci and how she placed the net all around Rangiku, though never thinking she would catch all three in it. After the attack Rangiku asks Momo if she is okay, to which she states that she is and that she has never done that before.

Rangiku then notes that she used 12 Fushibi as she never has seen such a large and complicated one before. Rangiku remarks to herself that Momo made the spells her own and wondered when she got that strong, though she is happy that she is doing better.

Each of them sacrifice their left arm and use them to form a creature with an ability they call Quimera Parca. Rangiku becomes frightened staring into the eyes of the creature and remarks that it's like staring into a deep hole you can't see the bottom of.

The creature charges at her as she calls upon Haineko to counter it, but it tears through the right side of her abdomen, severely injuring her as Momo screams out to her. Momo then notes that the creature has taken out everything under her ribs on the right side and she can't breathe like that, but the creature attacks Momo as well, taking her out with one punch to her stomach sending her flying. Just as all seems lost, Captain-Commander Yamamoto arrives and easily burns Ayon into oblivion with his Shikai.

Rangiku later regains consciousness during Ichigo Kurosaki's fight with Gin Ichimaru and manages to see Gin in combat. Kanonji tries to charge at Aizen with his staff in order to protect Tatsuki Arisawa, but Rangiku blocks his strike from hitting Aizen and saves him, remarking that she made it in time. When he tries to protest she threatens him with bodily harm if he does not leave, which he does.

Gin tells Aizen that he will talk to her and grabs Rangiku. This ranges from her beauty mark to a thin gold necklace to a pink scarf Byakuya isn't the only scarf lover around here to her preference for keeping her robes' chest rather open.

Sometimes, Soul Reapers stumble upon talented people out in the civilian world of the Soul Society and recruit them. Toshiro's inner power yearned for release, and he was accidentally using his ice powers at odd times as Daiguren Hyorinmaru called for him. So, Rangiku happened by, spotted his potential, and basically told him, "Sign up and join us. Rangiku is a goofball and pretty laid-back more on this soon , but by the same token, she won't stand for anyone bullying or mistreating others.

She always wants what's best for others, often by sharing her sake or cheering them up. In the previous entry, we mentioned that Rangiku met a young Toshiro. At the time, Toshiro had been short-changed by a shopkeeper without realizing it, and Rangiku demanded that Toshiro be more careful to not lose his money to dishonest people.

She was right to tell him that. This is one of the funnier parts of Rangiku's character. She is a gorgeous woman with a figure that many men find incredibly appealing, and Karakura Town is home to two self-styled ladies' men: Keigo Asano and Kon.

Both of them went wild when they laid eyes on Rangiku and her, well, style of dress, and they pounced. Fortunately, Rangiku is clearly used to this, since she easily and casually knocked both of them aside.
